Let me share a terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale. I genuinely feel this place is an automated business that cares nothing about its customers, a fraud ripping customers off for services they charge for but do NOT provide. I paid $19.95 for "next day delivery" for my glasses, but hours later got an email saying it would take 3 business days. That's clearly not "next day"! When it actually arrived on 02-24, after ordering on 02-18, it was far from what was promised. I was furious and felt completely ripped off. I needed to talk to a human to demand a refund for that delivery fee, which was easier said than done with their endless bots.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, $19.95, and my order took six days to arrive. This is unacceptable! I want that shipping fee refunded immediately. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I apologize for the delay you experienced with your delivery. Let me pull up your order details to see what happened. Can I get your order number, please? Customer: It's [Order Number]. The website promised next-day delivery, I paid extra for it, and then my email said 3 business days, and it actually took even longer! This is misleading. CS Rep: Thank you for providing that. I see the charge for expedited shipping. We sincerely regret that your order did not arrive within the promised timeframe. We are happy to process a full refund for the $19.95 shipping fee. Customer: So, you are actually processing the refund now? CS Rep: Yes, the refund for the shipping fee is being processed and should reflect on your statement within 3-5 business days. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of paying for services they won't receive.
